Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Kara has had the opportunity to study local country legends such as her personal hero, Terri Clark. Under her coach Angie Money, Kara has developed an ability to belt out powerful melodies while still maintaining her control and tone. Kara’s other musical influences include Reba McEntire, Faith Hill, and Sara Evans.
Kara has performed in, and excelled at many vocal spotlights over her fledgling career as a performer. Highlights include such events as the Klondike Days , Country Vocal Spotlight, the Big Valley Jamboree, Futures Fest, Calgary Stampede, and Rainmaker Rodeo.

| Kara now finds herself charging ahead with her music career. After taking some time away from the stage, Kara is back full force and ready to share her love of music with all of you.
Just turned 22, Kara is working on original songs which she would love to record sometime in her future.
